A Letter From Our Founder
[Drop cap decorative first letter: “I”] recently lost my step-son. He was 21 years old — just becoming a man. My daughter lost her brother, and my ex-wife lost her son. In that moment of unimaginable grief, we were thrust into a world of impossible decisions. Within hours, we had to choose a funeral home, coordinate with the hospital, figure out burial arrangements, write an obituary, notify family and friends scattered across the country, plan a service, arrange catering, find hotels for traveling family — all while barely being able to breathe.
That experience broke something in me. But it also built something. I realized that no family should have to navigate this alone. And I realized that preparing for these moments doesn't have to feel like preparing for death — it can feel like celebrating life.
That's why I created Celebrate Life Orlando. This isn't a funeral home publication. This isn't about death. This is about YOU — the living — taking control of your story, protecting the people you love, and ensuring that when your moment comes, your life will be celebrated exactly the way you want.
